This article is dedicated to the confrontation of two competitive web resources that propose lots of customers' opinions about various productions and services. These sites are called PissedConsumer.com and Consumer Reports. Will the beginner be able to triumph over the veteran?

When you load up the websites side by the side, the dissimilarities are quite startling. It's immediately apparent that Consumer Reports has got a slicker and more professional look. The basic hues which are used during the designing of interface are grey, white and blue. The main page includes a lot of pictures and links that are related with some little stories. The interface of Pissed Consumer comprises basically red and white colors that make it look great. Anyway, Consumer Reports looks more professional as Pissed Consumer does. This is the result of many advertisement banners located on the main page which are powered by Google. Additionally, while there are lots of links, there are no pictures and the font utilized is not completely uniform making reading a little difficult on the eye. The website does contain two specifically useful sections. One is a recently discussed bar which displays you the reviews or complaints with the latest comments to them. “Hot topics” are displayed by the other section. They are demonstrated only in single word link. I just wished the font of the hot topics section was bigger so it would be easier to distinguish the words.

For the customer that visits Consumer Reports at the first time it is actually simply to seek for some needed topics as they are strictly subdivided into some main themes. The main page was also kept up to date information that was relevant to the newest published issue of Consumer Reports Magazine. The website of the Pissed Consumer also has got quite interesting structure but it is more difficult to utilize. The main page contains the most recently created complaints and reviews which can be a bit confusing to a first time visitor. There is a wide range of articles placed on it in the right side of the main page, but there is no exact classification that makes it less efficient. Both sites include some excellent searching systems that make the navigation processes performed by visitors actually easy. It's also significant to mention that while at first glance Consumer Reports seems to have a larger range of product information, this is not true. Pissed Consumer doesn't propose a proper menus that is why it seems to be less helpful, but it actually may boast of a lot of unique and truly useful information.

Those websites cover practically the same range of subject matters of topics but Consumer Report seems to be better organized and attentive for its customers. It means that customer has got an opportunity to find needed information in considerably shorter terms. Our small comparison demonstrates that Pissed Consumer is not so handy and attractive for visitors as Consumer Reports does.
